Frequently Asked Questions

Should I price window cleaning per pane or per window?

Per pane is the industry standard — typically $4–$8 per pane for interior and exterior. But plenty of successful solo operators just offer flat-rate packages: Small House ($150), Medium House ($250), Large House ($400). Flat rates close deals faster because the client doesn't have to count their own windows.

How do I charge more for hard-to-reach windows?

Add a story surcharge. Ground floor is your base rate. Second story adds 25–50% per pane. Third story or skylight access doubles it. French windows with multiple small panes take more time — charge per pane, not per frame. Always quote screens and track cleaning as separate add-ons.
